Russ,
Have you tried a lower default bit depth, say 16? I know the docs say that
24bpp is supported, but it may be worth a try. We trying to get this
chipset working on a Dell Optiplex 110, still trying to get the correct
combination of module, server and config.

Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned that I already
have agpgart.o loaded successfully. I don't believe that is
the problem.

Are you runnin Abacus Sentry? I had that problem once. It wasn't letting me
into X blah blah blah. Kill it. Also, check for a lock file in /tmp.

Did you run XF86Setup or xf86config?
Doesn't sound that way to me. Try one of those. If you have vga16 server use
the XF86Setup in you got the SVGA server use xf86config. I personally don't
like the XF86Setup it never quite worked with SVGA for me.
