I made it work by using libc5, xpm and xlib from the bo distribution (I'm using
potato) see:

Use alien to convert them to .tgz, and put them into their own directory, e.g.
/usr/local/oldlibs. They take up about 2.5MB. You'll need to resymlink libxmu
