What I have in my /etc/init.d/network is
ifconfig lo 127.0.0.0 netmask 255.0.0.0
route add -net 127.0.0.0 netmask 255.0.0.0
When the system boots and I run a netstat, my lo network interface
doesn't show up. Why?, I don't know. However when I issue
a ifconfig, the lo interface shows
