pseudo-transparency with rxvt-unicode (also runs the "testing"

here. Did you try without a DE/WM? Now that you're mentioning it I don't
recall last time I saw the pseudo-transparency (I also use
rxvt-unicode).

For the longest time I've been using rxvt-unicode with the
pseudo-transparency option enabled (-tr). Prior to that I used aterm
with a similar setting.
I recently upgraded a good chunk of the packages on my system (I run
