Hi Wayne, I ran into the same issue with trusted.gpg. I opened the file in nano and it was completely empty. My guess is that apt is looking to this file for the public keys of the various servers, and it complains when it can't find them. In fact, the keys are stored in the /etc/apt/trusted.gp

Hallo, I had this problem too. I had a lot of entries in the sources.list file. For every entry, apt gets the description of all the packages. Somewhere apt merges this information into one big "file". For this, it needs a lot of memory which it doesn't get. I am not sure whether it needs disk
