Problem with udev and apcupsd

I was setting up udev with my 2.6.5 kernel and I managed to get almost everything working correctly. The only problem that I had a bit of trouble with is my APC Back-UPS LS 500. Every time I rebooted Debian I got this error message in my /var/log/apcupsd.events file: Mon Apr 12 21:53:10 EDT 2
