Looks okay. Please to boot with this image, dumped on a floppy disk. If
this kernel does not recognice your card, something is broken.

No, I mean use the one that ships with 2.4 and you will have no
difficulty. At

Exactly. Load without parameters.

I had a similar experience trying to set up a Clevo 2700C. There are
several
versions of the sis900.o module floating around, and the only ones that
work
are the 2.4.x kernel ones. As far as I can tell for many 900s the old
module
does not work properly, and the new module is 2.4 only.

Right, PCI is plug-and-play, no manuall options to set. And where do you
have this options from?
After I typed "modconf", selected "net" and "sis900", modconf asked me to
enter any command line arguments for sis900 module. It also said that most
devices can be autoprobed.

Beware, this is an ugly low-cost card.

Hi all,
I have a SiS 900 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter installed on my computer but I
have no idea how to install the module properly.
I am using Debian Potato 2.2r3 with kernel 2.2.19pre17. When I select
sis900 module from "modconf"->"net", insmod complains that the selected
device or resource
