I have a IBM PS/2 486dx with a 200 mg hd Debian will not recognize that
the hd is there. Cfdisk gives me an error like this FATAL ERROR Can not
open hard disk. With fdisk it says it can not access the hard disk but
it knows that it is a scsi hard disk. This all happens at the third
step: Partition
I downloaded the disks for Linux off of your web page and tried
installing it on a secondary computer.
I got part way through the installation process to where the program was
trying to configure several different peripherals to see what was
present on the system.
The program then printed out the
