I've been using Mpegtv (www.mpegtv.com) for years and it works good, can
even read VCDs. fullscreen is no problem provided you have the proper
modelines in XF86Config. it is shareware tho.

I just tinkered and found a player using dselect - look for gtv.. It
will handle up to double - perhaps more - I didn't look that close,
but it does support sound and works!

sync ;))
Unfortunately, it's not really fullscreen. There is a lot of black space
around the mpeg. How should I make plaympeg use the _full_ screen in
