We use vmware extensivly in our environment, and every time apm has kicked in
on the host machine, the guest oses work fine and come back up properly. I'm
not sure if they're actually being 'suspended' per-se, but they dont complain.

i know about the "use APM features when suspending" of vmware, but it
doesn't help a lot when the guest is NT Workstation 4.0. so i am
wondering if anyone of you heard of a way to tell the underlying
vmware application to suspend, just as if its suspend button had been
clicked. this can happen
