I am having exactly the same problem as Jape Person's post from Oct 22
2016, except my hardware environment is completely different.
I am running Debian testing/Stretch 64-bit on a virtual machine under
virtualbox. The host OS is Windows 7 64-bit.

I'm needing this as well -- btw I use Gentoo. Is it possible that you need to replace "/root" with
"/" in some places? It's a mistake I've made before. /root is of course the root user's
"home" directory, while / is the 'root' of the filesystem, which is what I think you want. Hope

The same thing has just happened to me. After a regular system update which
boosted the program to 2.0.0.0-3, the whole program is hosed. All of my
account information is gone, and half of the controls don't work. That is,

Good news Andy,
let me just post it to debian-user so as to share

Hi all,
I just got my Gforce2 going (Tux Racer is awesome!), and I have the same
problem. If I switch consoles (ctrl-alt-f[1-6]), then switch back to X
(ctrl-alt-f7) the display, keyboard and mouse stop responding (never displaying
the X console). I can ssh into the machine, kill -9 XFree86 and

Your system supports IRQ sharing. It should *not* be a
problem... You may be able to turn this off in your BIOS
though. Doing so may cause you to run out of available
resources t

OK, I've tried playing 3 mp3 files. They mostly race through one minute's
worth in a few seconds with just noisy static sounds. One of them, if I
keep trying, will race part way through and then slow down and play

Hi guys,
Sorry to annoy you with another printer post, but I am having a
problem here.
HP DeskJet 697C connected on /dev/lp0 with Slink + 2.2.5.
I can't even ouput a text file to it. If I do
echo "blah" > /dev/lp0
It awakes, loads paper, cleans heads, and stops there. Doesn't even
eject the pap
