Hi,
I am Michael van Schalkwyk, from South Africa, and I would really like to
know if you were
ever able to find drivers for that Maxi Gamer 3D card that you posted on the
net (30 Aug '99)
because I have a card that is exactly the same!
*MAXI Gamer 3D
*Super Video 3D Accelerator Boar
You'll want to grab one of two servers:
1. Download the Creative Labs 3D Blaster Banshee server from the Creative
Labs website (look under Beta drivers). This server works well with Slink
and doesn't require the work of #2. All that is needed is an edit of
/etc/X11/Xserver to point at /usr/X11
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far way, someone said...

My first suggestion would be to try the SVGA
Hi all,
I'm going to help a friend tomorrow mornig to setup Linux on
his computer, he's owning this card, and I don't know if the
xserver exists (and if so, where I can download it).

Hello Pinguins,
nice Weekbeginning to all.
Today I have found a 3Dfx graphic card in my miracle sack
(NIC's, graphic cards, IOcontoler, SCSI,...) and I do not know,
what I can do with it.
OK, on the card is written:
MAXI Gamer 3D
Super Video 3D Accelerator Board
