A large number of entries in the google results from the list are useless
because they are the 'debian-user Jun 2006 by thread' monthly summaries.
Because each monthly summary is simply a list of the thread titl

Thanks a lot for the advice, I found them under muc.lists.debian.*.
linux.debian.* seems to be a different hierarchy altogether.

hierarchy (e.g. linux.debian.user).

Hello,
Are the Debian mailing list archives available through any
non-click protocol, say NNTP, POP or IMAP?

I have not even seen such a search engine. In the meantime,
though, you might try searching the archive of your choice page by
page. In Netscape you can use , then , and in lynx you
can use (the foreslash, for search), then enter keywords.

Hello all,
Has anyone else noticed that lately the mailing list archive search
function always seems to fail? I've been getting the file not found error
on every search, it seems.
Thanks. Syrus.

Could someone point me to a URL where I can get at the Debian list
archives in zipped format? I'm sure I've seen this mentioned, but can't
seem to find the reference.
I assume these would be huge, but if I could cram them somewhere it'd
save on repeated connections.
Thanks

Could who ever manages the mailing archives put up the December files
please.
There seems to be some problem with the index to this and last month's messages.
Are people aware of this? And given that I can't use that, I remember that at
some point lprng was recommended as the future "lpr" for debian. Where can I
find this?
Thanks!
