Make certain there is a spool file, and the name is the same as the print queue. Check /var/log/messages too. Paul

Lpd dying

Any idea why lpd would randomly die every once in a while? lpc> status shows "no deamon present", so I do "restart all" and it says "daemon started". Then I go to print and it's "no daemon present" again... Will -
