Are we talking bo here? The following applies to bo and may well work
with hamm but I have not yet tried it.
The trick with a low-mem install is this; when you get to the "boot: "
prompt answer with "linux floppy0". After that just follow instructions
but note that along the way you will need
I need help trying to install Debian on a system with low memory. I
have made the Rescue disk and the Low memory root disk. Setup goes fine
until after "Copying root filesystem from floppy to /dev/hda10 ...".
This copies from drive A: and completes with "done." Should it be
copying from drive B:
