I just got a Logitech cordless optical trackman for my birthday. I have
it working with gpm (and X) as roughly a 3 button mouse, however, the
orientation is not very good. For example, when I go "up" with the
trackball to move the mouse pointer upwards, it travels roughly 45 degrees

How do I get my Logitech Trackman Marble mouse to work with X
windows? I use it serially rather than ps/2. I tried a few
options when configuring X86 but they did not work. I have kernel

Mine too, but I'm too lame to test the PS/2 connector so I used
the adapter to turn it into a serial device.
