Perhaps you need "DVD Playback DVDs are usually encrypted with CSS. CSS is not a codec. In any case, here is some information on playback of encrypted DVDs. All media players use libdvdcss2 in order to playback these encrypted DVDs libdvdcss2 is available at the unofficial repository deb-mu

I have a CD with just audio only tracks, not music, just people speaking. They are lectures. I don't know what extension they have, but VLC won't touch them and neither will totem. Could anyone please tell me what package I need to be able to listen to these audio files. Thank you. Charli
