I've received posts from it...very few posts over the past day,
though), or the rootservers are being reconfigured, or many users
are having DNS problems, or there are telephone service line

I don't know how this list is set up, but some lists are set up so that if
your email address ever bounces, you are automatically removed from the
list. Therefore, maybe the list has unsubscribed you? I might try
subscribing again and see if that works.

Given that you're getting output at all, the issue would be with the printer
configuration on kingsnake; assuming kingsnake is also a Linux (or Unix) box,
check its printcap file, specifically the entries for `raw' or `text'. It
sounds like maybe a wrong filter script is being used.
