Has anyone gotten this printer to work in debian?
Am I fighting a losing battle? I have been trying to get this printer to work
for a month.
I downloaded the driver and it shows on the list of printers in printool but
when I select it and configure it, it never works.

Anyone have any success with a Lexmark 5700 ink-jet printer?
They claim you can operate it using an HP500c driver.
I have tried using magicfilter from lprng. Here is my
