I keep seeing messages pointing people to kde.tdyc.com. When I first
read
the announcement of KDE2 availability here http://dot.kde.org/972331966/ it
had ftp sites for both potato and woody debs for kde.
Potato: http://ftp.kde.org/stable/2.0/distribution/deb/Debian/dists/potato/
Woody: http://ftp
KDE2 is only available for woody, however, just add this to your
/etc/apt/sources.list file and you should be able to get what you need.

deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian woody main contrib non-free

I have buy a german debian potato box
and they tell in the box that kde2.0 beta and koffice is
inside

run "apt-get update" before you try to grab the
packages. Make sure you're root.

will get you sources.list entries for apt
ftp://kde.tdyc.com/pub/kde/debian/dists/potato/kde2
for a more direct approach
