I use gnome most of the time but maybe you could check the hidden files
and folders on the home folder of the user. They usually store
system preferences like that. When I'm really angry with the settings
and don't want to spend time figuring it out, i just delete everything
under the folder of th

i checked into that, it wasn't the problem. Which is too bad cause that would
