thru php4-interbase. On the other hand, i'm having some problems.

I didn't see any packages for it, but in CPAN there is a DBD-Interbase
module you could probably look at.

Hi,
Has anybody successfully used the perl DBD::InterBase module with Firebird
on woody?
Downloading the DBD-InterBase-0.30.tar.gz from the DBD-Interbase home
site, I got the following errors when I tried to install:
$ perl Makefile.PLCannot proceed. Aborting..
I cannot find your InterBase

No problems at all. I've been using this package for quite a while.

It is not. There has not yet been a source release of Interbase; the
Interbase source release is expected within the next months (check

Hi ,
Does anyone know if the DBMS Interbase is packaged for Debian?
I've tried to check using: apt-cache search interbase, with no success.
Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions,

Hi
a really weird problem:
I am using Interbase 5.0 SQL server and client on Debian 2.1 with 2.2.10 kernel.
However there seems to be a bug either in interbase or in kernel.
For those who are not familiar with SQL servers: an sql server is started
by inetd after it gets a connection on port
o upgrade.

Hello all,
I just saw a post that lead me to a ZDNet article on Linux. One thing
of interest for me was the linux version of interbase that is available
for redhat. Has anyone installed this on a debian system? If so, what
configuration / version of debian is needed.

Apparently a version 4.0 is coming out for Linux in the next week
