Hi - My laptop has no cdrom or floppy (an ultra slim sony), I do have an external usb floppy for it though (no cdrom). The bios will boot the usb floppy, but the regular debian (woody bf2.4) rescue.bin / root.bin floppy install fails at loading root.bin, it doesn't see the floppy through the usb.

New Debian User! I have a Compaq Elite 4/75 CX laptop. I have an IC ethernet card (network card). I installed Debian on the laptop using disks. I would like to make a network connection through the network card and then install the rest of the debian files through the network. Please help. Thank
