Hmm after losts of digging and squinting at web pages written in Japanese (which I dont understand at all) it seems to come down to this. 1. The Debian boot disk kernels wont read the floppy after the first disk. 2. Hence you must install from somewhere else. 3. Options are Zipdisk or DOS parti

Hi I have just aquired a Toshiba Libretto 70CT onto which I want to intsall 2.2.r3 and wipe out the nasty corrupted Win98 that is currently on the hard drive. Unfortunately this cute little thing has a strange PCMCIA floppy and the install barfs loading the root disk (basically it cannot see the f
