I think the printer's specs are 600x600 b&w, 600x300 color, but I'm not
aware of a way to test the printed resolution I'm getting.

Anybody using this printer with linux? It claims to be PCL3 compliant,
but I don't know if dvilj can convert from .dvi to pcl3...
