I thought "gmake" was what GNU Make installed as on the BSDs. Since Debian
is Linux, you probably just want "make". You might want to 'ln -s m

On another machine running Suse, the application is installed
under /usr/bin/gmake. Are there any official Debian
packaged with "gmake".
If not, what could I do to make 'gmake' available?
