svgalib vs. GGI

Hello again, Having (now) worked out the basics of svgalib and being about to embark on a fairly substantial graphics project I wonder what peoples opinions are regarding svgalib vs. GGI ? Is svgalib dead and GGI "the way of the future" ? What is the state of svgalib development now

Hi, I installed libggi1 and libggi-dev and trying to compile a native GGI program. Info in libggi-dev says that in has all necessary include files to compile but compiling stops with message "can't find file ggi/libggi.h". Did I miss something? best r
