Try the normal FDISK and
I mention this a lot, but its a great app. Partition Magic has converted a
FAT32 to
FAT16 flawlessly for me a couple of times. Actually, all I use is the boot
disk,
brings up a nice GUI, and does just about anything I need. Granted I don't
have to
pay for it, I just borrow my friends

I have a problem, I really hope you can help me. I need to convert my
computer back to FAT16 from FAT32. How can I do that? I have already
formatted my harddisk (850MB), so does their exist any program, which in
MS-DOS mode can convert my harddisk back to FAT16?

You can't convert drives of less than 256 Megabytes to FAT32, so if
your hard drive is partitioned with <256 Mb logical or primary
partitions, Windows's FDISK will pr

FAT32 does not appear to be just a new partition type, which can coexist
with FAT16 & Linux partitions.
Both utilities I tried (Win95 FDISK & Maxtor Maxblast) required either all
FAT32 or no FAT32, and Linux FDISK was then unable to add any Linux/FAT16
partitions, once there was a FAT32 partition.

If you are using win95 osr2 or osr2.1, you can use partition magic 3.0

The only way I know of is with the commercial program Partition Magic ver.
3.0 (or later). Otherwise, I suppose you could back it up, reformat as
FAT16 and restore.

I'm not sure it's possible without backing up the entire drive and
refomatting (assuming you can find a copy of FDISK that'll do FAT16,
which I don't think was included in Win95 OSR2)
How Do I Convert My Hard Drive For FAT32 To
