Hi,
I can't empty the trash folder.
I see an error message when I do that "File > Empty Trash"
How can I do it manually?
I read the tutorial at
http://taufanlubis.wordpress.com/2010/11/13/cant-empty-evolution-trash-bin-–-error-while-expunging-folder/
but didn't work.
I'm using POP server, Evo
Any way to get rid of this. Ive tried to fix it for some time but still

Does /home/myuser/.local/share/evolution/mail/local exist?
what permissions does the folder have?
do you have free space in your partition?
I dont use evolution, but there must be in the configuration of your
account somewhere that tells you the path where your mails is trying
to get saved. check
I posted this a week or so back, or tried to. I am getting the error
message below every time I send an email. I wish to fix this but really
don't know what or how to do it.
The reported error was "Failed to append to
mbox:///home/myuser/.local/share/evolution/mail/local#Sent: Invalid
folder URI '
I am getting this message since I did a dist-upgrade to Wheezy on my
evolution set up.

Thanks. I did the following:
sudo chown -R eric:eric /home/eric/.evolution/
sudo chmod -R 770 /home/eric/.evolution/
but that did not resolve the issue.
Since I can read my email, I was wondering if there are specific
permissions at the database level and enforced via data in
addressbook.db?

Try:
#chown -R eric.eric /home/eric/.evolution/
#chmod -R 770 /home/eric/.evolution/
Bye.

Can you offer any suggestions on how to address this? I searched Google
and Debian bugs and found very contradictory reports.
Thanks.

forbidden. I ma running fluxbox as window manager but did not install
the full GNOME desktop. Could it be that the errors are because I did
not install all of GNO
No, my hostname is not wombat...wombat is a program w/ a lib that's somehow
related to evolution (and maybe other apps too?). Not sure what its purpose
is.

It seems that I still have been unsuccessful in getting Evolution to work after
several weeks since its initial release. The error I keep getting is:
evolution-shell-WARNING **: Cannot access Bonobo/ConfigDatabase on wombat:
(IDL:OAF/GeneralError:1.0)
I know I have bonobo and bonobo-conf install
