Hallo Debs!
Because xemacs is a little bit big, I want to use GNU Emacs instead.
Two days ago I dist-upgraded to potato with no problems, so I now run
emacs 20.7.2 (i386-debian-linux-gnu, X toolkit) and gnus v5.8.3
Starting guns I get to following errormessage:
Symbol's value as variable is voi
This does not belong to debian-admin but to debian-user, I've
forwarded it.

I got emacs 20 to work. I removed all the emacs stuff from my system.
Then I installed the new emacs 20 package that I found on the Debian
server. The version that I was trying to install was 20.7 and the
version that worked 20.8.

I recently upgraded to Debian 2.0 and I can't get emacs 20 to install.
Here is the error message I get:
Cannot open load file: debian-rundir
emacs-install: /usr/lib/emacsen-common/packages/install/emacsen-common emacs20
failed at /usr/lib/emacsen-common/emacs-install line 26.

There is an xemacs20 in unstable.
Don't know about emacs.

I've heard a lot about Emacs 20.*. But there doesn't seem to be a
Debian package out. How come?
And don't tell me to Debiainize it myself. I haven't got that sort of
expertise...
