I want to use zgv with svgalib, which works, but the hi-res modes
do not (I get 640x480, I think).
As far as I know, my video card (et6000, 4Mb) is downward compatible
with
et4000 which has good (?) support in svgalib. I however cannot gather
from the docs how to change modes. the F
Anyone successfully run X with ET6000?
Can you send your config file to me?

Runs fine here. You should get the XF86_SVGA server from the 3.2A distribution

Has anyone had any success getting this to run with the svga server in
Xfree86 3.2A ?? I tried it, but it puked on me, gave me a screen full of
garbage. when i ctrl alt bkspace to kill the server, I seem to lose all
signal from the card, because my monitor goes into powersaving mode. I
