Dselect hard crash; now dselect won't run

(Debian 1.1 - slink) After the crash, there were errors in the ext2 root system. When that was cleaned up, I tried to run dselect again. Now it fails like this: 11:06pm ~$ dselect dselect: error in loading shared libraries /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.0-1.so.2: undefined symbol: __
