Hi all,
I am using DOSEMU v 0.98.7.0 with kernel 2.0.36
and DOS 6.20
PS/2 mouse which is /dev/psaux and /dev/mouse.
dosemu.conf uses /dev/mouse, type ps2.
I have mouse support compiled into the kernel.
When gpm is off, the mouse is functional under
DOSEMU (in 'edit', for instance), except that
So I'll respond to part of my own post. In searching usenet, I
happend upon a solution (probably not the right one) to problem #1
(running under X and using the modem). Running "xhost +" got dosemu running in an X-window. (Huh, didn't used to have to do
that.) Also, apparently in dosemu for an
Can anyone shed any light on these?
(1) I can't start dosemu in an X-window or use the modem except as root,
even though I have "all c_all" permissions set for myself in the user
config file. (Before I upgraded from v.66 to v.98.1 I was able to run
under X, but I didn't try the modem.)

I have read the HOWTO and followed the instructions. IN my /etc/dosemu.conf I
have a line
disk {partition "/dev/hda3"}
and added a line
lredir d: /linux/fs\dos in autoexec.bat both on my dos partition and in
/usr/lib/dosemu/commands.
When I go into dosemu and type d: I get a directory of ap

dos: can't find library 'libX11.so.6'
Well, I do have the library, what went wrong and how can I adjust DOSEMU?
thanks in advance,
Marc
