I've ran X on a PS/2 with 2 mb of ram, but I had to use a dos X server ot
make it work.

Hmm, I can't answer that. I don't run X on any of our PS/2s -
I have several PS/2`s:
3-55sx
6-56sx
1-57sx
1-80

It sure will. What sort of PS/2 have you got? ESDI drives can be a bit
tricky, and the install kernel doesn't have support for the IBM MCA SCSI
adapt

I don't see why not. You wont be able to use X with that processor though
