There are several ways to do that:
1 - use `regionset'. But this can only be used 5 times.
2 - change your DVD's firmware (there's a web site

This may not help much if he also wants to play Australian DVD's, as
they would then have the wrong region code, and I am not sure whether
you can switch region codes at will.
