my SB16 can't play midi files

can't play midi files using playmidi. Only a copyright notice appears. below is my mi* devices: /dev/midi /dev/midi00 /dev/midi01 /dev/midi02 /dev/midi03 /dev/mixer /dev/mixer1 Pls reply to [EMAIL PROTECTED] because i'll leave the list in a minute. PS: i love Debian and i love you!
