Sorry all, I've figured it out now.
Some of the modules weren't being loaded in modules.conf that were being
loaded in httpd.conf.old
All working as needed :-)

Some time ago I set up Apache with PHP and user home dir, this was
working fine up until a while ago. I think I did a apt-get upgrade that
broke it.
Now I can't open any php file and access any user home dirs eg

Any help that anyone can give me or if you can at least point me in the
