Problem resolved, i recompiled the kernel and restarted, probably it was
my m8s fault . Also enabled config.gz support it's very useful.

and I can't resolve this problem:
After changing my OS (Debian Etch), it sees only 884 MB of the physical
memory but i have 1Gbyte (2x512MB) installed in my box and HIGHMEM (4gb)
support is already enabled.
