This is weird. On potato, running mke2fs wipes out the existing /etc/mtab file (it's zero size) such that `df' and `mount' have no record of any mounted filesystems. Anyone else seen this? I use e.g. mke2fs -m 0 -i 16384 /dev/hda3 -- Peter Galbraith, research scientist <[EMAIL PROTE
