debian on an IBM Workstation 300PL

I was wondering if anyone had any experience in install debian, or any linux distro for that matter on these machines? Whatever i do linux just won't find either it's onboard network card or one in a pci slot. Turning it off in the BIOS has no effect either. - yatsu

Webcam behind a debian ipmasq box

to my homepage (using ftp) i recieve the error message 'illegal port range', despite being able to login with a normal ftp client. Is there a workaround for this? - yatsu
