the URL, but some site counts the web servers. Methinks there should be some
well known sites with 375 of market :).

DEC tulip with/without PNIC. However, slink drivers take care of that.

at the probelm was fixed in one of the ac's, but somehow got
missed in the patch.
Did anyone else have the same problem? Can someone who has a local kernel
mirror check it out ?

I want to locally mirror the debian dist. Which is the better way..
rsync, wget or mirror ? I am planning to just do the base install, install one

I had the same problem.. In apache.conf (I think in etc/apache.conf),
uncomment the ServerName line and set it accordingly. It works fine then...

Try this...Shutdown X, logout as root, logon as a user, type startx. In X, now
try netscape&. This should work... I think, you logged on as
a user when X is still running as root(Ctrl + shift + f2!!!).

My resolv.conf has just the entries for my ISP nameserver. So how do I give my

Did you do 'make modules;make modules_install'? Did you also run
depmod-a?.
If yes, then looks to me like you never loaded the module. You can do it at
boot or whenever you wish. Try typing insmod module name(eg:ppp.o for ppp).

waiting for are different. Dial thru minicom and see what login string you
get.. Something like 'Login Name ' or 'Username:'... Change the chatscript to
this string...
