I just noticed php 3 is out. I've had a little use of php2 in the past,
but maybe whenever I get my deb box going, I'll get php going too, but I
must ask: the download for it's linux binary says:
Linux 2.1.x (Redhat 5.x) Apache 1.3.0 + PHP 3.0 binary
Excuse me? Does that mean it's only for Redhat?
I ran out of IDE controllers on my machine so I decided tosteal the SB
from my fiance's computer to hopefully be able to use the IDE comtroller
on it so I can actually use my CDROM drive. Anyway, I can't seem to get
the computer to noticethe C Drive is there, and I'm not even sure if it

How can you view the entire list of messeges that show when you boot into
linux? It all either scrolls by too fast or too much read/decipher as it
rolls off the top. Is there a file that mirrors that output or someway I
can re-direct it to a file for perusal?

I just used this command:
(cd /usr ; tar cvf - . )
but didn't realize it would take up more space than I have on my disk.
Well, whien it started to complain, I halted it. But now I have another
problem... all my space is still gone... where did this put the "tar'd"
stuff?
df gives me 0% free... no
