I see this issue with kernel 4.9.0-4.

The Blackdown JVM has some bugs , that is you can't use the debugger so I
install IBM's JVM1.3 , which is cool by the way , via the rpm -> alien.
It installed OK , witout problems but now the system doesn't know that there is
a JVM !! .

My question is regarding the a dvi-viewer - tkdvi - what happends is
after installation via dselect, happends ... nothing , that is no tkdvi
appears. Can anybody advise please ?
PS I checked xgdvi but it's at "unstable" and require to upgrade libc6 and I
