Hi ! i am trying to publish an arp entry on my firewall as follows: arp -s [IP-Adress] [MAC-Adress] pub but when i ping this IP-Address from my internal network i do not get an ARP reply from it. What did I do wrong ? Thanks markus

hi there, i´ve tried to add rtl8139 within the make menuconfig dialogue to my 2.2.19 kernel. but it isn´t there further i could not find a header file for the rtl8139.c file can anybody help me on this markus

Installing from a pile of floppys

se a MsDOS partition to install form and dump the files zipped in several floppies, use some PLIP or SLIP to link to another computer, but all of these sound a bit hard for me. I'm pretty sure that somebody else has faced this problem before. Any advice? Thanks, Luis Seidel Dpto. de Física A
