I believe I saw in SuSE perhaps the possibility to use the parallel port in polling mode - so maybe you should change your config to NOT USE interrupts. Sorry, I can´t access a linux machine right now, so I can´t help any further. Have a look at the parallel drivers section - howto and so on. Th
