A message at apt-upgrade:
__
The following package disappeared from your system as
all files have been overwritten by other packages:
libaudit0
Note: This is done automatically and on purpose by dpkg.

Has libaudit0 been obsoleted?

Any tips on using SEM India DNA-A201 modem in bridge mode?
Modem has adsl and ppp commands. No man pages.
All attempts lead to dangling IP address (wan IP) reachable only from
localhost.

Usage: adsl start [--up] [--mod ] [--lpair <(i)nner|(o)uter>]

The eventual goal to to use it for financial modeling, which would
eventually mean some use/knowledge of a database software. This would
be my first foray in programing. Any suggestions?

it's hard to say.
This is a Debian forum. Not sure how much people would appreciate discussing OO.

Newbie question.
I am thinking about having three OS (XP, Debian and SuSE) on one HD.
I'll mostly be using Debian (70%), XP (20 to 25%) and ocassionally
SuSE. What's the best way to go about partitioning the HD. Will load XP
first for sure.
Thanks,
Rajiv

Newbie question:
How do I change the screen resolution in Debian. I have 800*600 now and
want to take it higher to 1068*720 or something like that. I went to
the Gnome pannel and tried changing it but it does not give me an
option higher than 800*600.
Rajiv
ered while processing:
ldso_1.9.11-5.deb
Afterwards, I ran apt-get -f install to reinstate ldso_1.9.10.
Many thanks. Rajiv.
