I have been looking around with no luck.
Is it possible to map extra mouse buttons, like buttons
6 and 7, to keycodes?
For instance, map button 6 to alt-tab?

grep dies with 'Aborted'

Where should I start looking to track this? I changed nothing

Somewhere between an apt-get upgrade of unstable woody
and the system crashing twice while trying to get a second
ethernet card going I seem to have trashed my x.
I have tried reinstalling various x-windows packages with
no luck.
The error message I am getting is:
(EE) end of block range 0xfb
So... who do I have to sleep with to get a response? :)
This is really a problem, and I have no idea how to track it down...

When I try to install packages I get the messages below.
If I reboot I can install packages for about 10 minutes till
the problem rears its ugly head once again. It seems to be a
problem in the default CHLD handler, but I don't know for sure.
Can anyone offer advice?

I am trying again, since my last post got lost in
a mess of header munge...
I recently installed debian, and things were going
fine for a few weeks, but now I am having an odd issue
that seems to be affecting wait/waitpid.
When I try to do an apt-get install my install dies with:

I am terribly sorry, I just noticed this went out and got all
fubar'd, I'm not sure why, but it may have something to do with
