I did the same configuration for another Debian PC and trying to connect them
in ADHOC mode. But ping returns with destination address unreachable from both
of them.
I would appreciate if anyone could give some suggestions on this regard.

I have some interesting problem, when i try to install debian 31r1 to my laptop.
Manufacturer is HP Compaq type Presario 2100. I was trying to install from
debian cd. Internal cd-rom is out of order, so i'm using external one via usb.
I get the boot screen, but when i reach the stage wh

The problem is that debian is only fittet with about 8 devices form hda to hdg
or something like that.
MAKEDEV /dev/hdx where x marks the location of your missing drive.
