i like the bsd-ported ftpd because it's fast, but i do need the
ftpwho-feature. However, on FreeBSD this is available for that daemon aswell i
heard... so is there a way I can use it with Debian, too?

how would the sources-lines for woody be?
i don't need source-code, so I suppose updates / non-us and non-free would
be sufficiently. Just writing woody instead of potato doesn't seem to
work...

6.x-Systems) works fine on Debian, too, if anyone has experiences with it

I followed the ftp-user-discussion and thought I'd better change from
proftpd which was installed pretty easy to ftpd.

i have a network-connection to a friend and want to be my ip-address at
eh0 automatically set @ bootup. how do i do that? (address is 192.168.0.2 and
i usually do just ifconfig up eht0 192.168.0.2 but it's not the best way to
enter this command all the time, so i need to find out in what init-
