"root=..." option (see higher). Are you sure your initrd is being found? I guess, but I'm not sure. LILO prints "LILO 22.8 Loading Linux[dots][a space][dots][return]" with that config; if I remove the "initrd=" line, it prints "LILO 22.8[dots][return]".
